Apparently Peugeot is favoring compact coupés to hot hatches and wants to move away from rally and sports oriented niche to luxury orientated sports coupés. “For us, the GTI concept is dead,” Peugeot marketing director Christian Stein told UK's best car news and reviews site, the Autocar. “We will move away from hot hatches towards premium sports coupés.”
